THIS has got to be the ugliest car ever made!!! Its uglier than the Aztek!

Lie they do! My mother was rear ended while stopped at a red light once. The guy who hit her immediately accused her of backing up into him! Unreal.

People lie after accidents to cover their arse. Once a guy rear ended me, we pulled off at the nearest police station, and he proceeded to lie up a storm... to the point that the police were so confused at the different stories that they just issued us both citations.

"What...no comment at all about the Christine reference? That was awesome!"
I was starting to think I was the only one who remembered the movie heh. Oh and that big waterfall chrome grille really looks awesome at night. All those reflections make the Buick look classy, as it should.

Wheel covers?
Doesn't this car have alloy wheels standard ?
Oh, and I'm glad you and the Enclave are okay, Caroline.

Wheel covers? Sure they're a lot less expensive to fix/replace, but how much was this car again? $35-something?
I know the wheel covers on my Altima rattle up a storm and the "lugs" are easy to strip, so they hang like distended eyeballs.

banhugh,
Yeah, I asked him for his insurance card but since he was in a rental that info was in his "real car." I asked for his rental agreement but didn't find anything of use.

What about the car insurance number? Shouldn't you have gotten that as well? In case there was damage, what would you do?

"Yeah, even if he didn't see the turn signal, how could he not see the SUV turning in front of him? That's what I didn't get."
He's one of those geniuses that just watches the car coming up and assumes that he can punch the gas as it gets next to him. Because obviously if the car is infront of me when I step on the gas it will be past me when I actually get there.
"What ever happened to "I'm sorry. Of course, here's my info and glad it was not worse!"
I guess courtesy and responsibility are antiquated concepts."
Yep, sad but true, how dare you delay him by insisting he take some responsibility for his actions.
Maybe he needed to get back to the phone call that was probably interrupted by the impact.

Yes, I am truely, truely sorry I was in your way at the moment you were trying to get to dinner. It won't happen again.

Just tell him either I get your info or I am calling the cops. If he thought he's late for dinner before, now he's going to be real late for the dinner...

soeone that quick to run off from an accident, I'd bust out the camera and be snapping headshots of the man, as well as his license plate as well as get the information
..."just in case"

If somebody hits me and then starts complaining how I'm making him late, I think I'd definitely try to take as long as possible to exchange info. Jerk!

your top photo makes me wonder something that I have noticed on vehicles with HID headlights, and this could be the reason for the guy claiming he didn't see your left turn signal.
I have noticed that on some vehicles, especially those with HID headlights that it is sometimes difficult to see the turn signal at night when the lights are on becuase the turn signal gets washed out due to the brightness of the headlight and the proximity of the turn signal to the head light.
That doesn't excuse the guy hitting you because you were obviously still in the process of turning when he hit you and he should have waited for you to finish, but I wonder if he really didn't see your turn signal?

I'm glad the Enclave is safe and sound and nobody was hurt. The only caveat is that When my sister turned in her leased cavalier that had been tapped from behind at a railroad crossing there was "hidden damage" to the tune of about 200 bucks(the impact foam had been broken under the bumper cover)

Whisper the name Christine at the car and see if its starts driving by itself. Maybe she regenerated :P
If I had the power, I would strip the Altima's driver of their license, just because of their rudeness.
