Mazda MX-5 Miata to get folding hardtop option

Folding hardtop-convertibles are all the rage, and Mazda wants to get a piece of the action. So in the not-too-distant future expect ot see this on the option list in the MX-5 brochure.

I think this is a smart move on Mazda's part. This will open the door to a whole new group of customers... Those who don't want the complexity, cost and extra weight, should still be able to get the current folding soft top.
