Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolet: 2008 Geneva Auto Show

Here's a variant of the second-generation, Europe-only Ford Focus that we needn't bother coveting: the restyled 2009 Ford Focus Coupe-Cabriolet. For starters, we already have a better version of this hardtop convertible called the Volvo C70, and even it is not particularly inspiring to drive.
Then, there's the styling. The retractable hardtop mechanism necessitates a massive rear overhang that culminates in a saggy back end.

Finally, price: With all the expense that went into building the hardtop and stiffening the chassis for a top-down application, there's no way Ford could charge less than $30,000 for it in the U.S. Let the Europeans keep this one.
