To its credit, the iQ manages to seat four despite the fact that it's only 11 inches longer than a Smart Fortwo...
It uses a 3+1 arrangement though, so that fourth person is basically in the trunk. Sitting up front should be extra special too as Toyota described the dashboard as "dark and mysterious with swoops and curves of a manta ray." We're hoping that's not the revolutionary part.
There were no specs given for its drivetrain, so we figure Toyota will eventually shove some really clean and fuel-efficient engine in there somewhere. Then again, the iQ is only a concept, so it may never go into production. -- Ed Hellwig, Senior Editor, Inside Line

I think it's interesting, actually.
The idea of a 3 seater (forget the +1) makes it more practical than a ForTwo, because if it's the 2nd car for the family, the parent driving that car could still transport both kids in a pinch.
This presumes that there would be a way to switch off the front passenger airbag, though.
The front is very face-like. Looks like it's missing its 4 front teeth.
This looks better than the "up!" and the Smart combined. They should sell these. Just put like 100 airbags and I think people will feel safe. Actually, I think they could get creative with roof rack system and make it more practicle than it appears.
