Spy Shots: 2009 Infiniti FX

Images of a lightly disguised 2009 Infiniti FX are up on the Net. The vehicle is to be introduced at the Geneva auto show next month.

The vehicle is slightly longer than the current model, and like the Nisaan Murano, is clearly is an evolutionary step in terms of design. It's believed that the base model will get the larger 3.7L V6, and will be called the FX37. The V8 version may also get a larger engine, probably 5.0L or maybe even a 5.5L unit.

Full story here.

Looks pretty nice. I'm excited to see it unveiled.

The back end with the camo looks like the EX.

Wow, that actually looks good. I don't care for SUVs, but I always thought the Murano looked quite good. Now it's taken on a TVR-like quality, especially with the front end.

Looks nice, IMO

It definitely has some of Infiniti's recent design cues like the headlights and taillights

It looks like .... the old one. Too much, perhaps.

Plus it still seems small.

The front gives the impression that it's really pissed off; a little overly aggressive but I'd still get it.

Hopefully it will get the new 7speed that was developed by Nissan & JATCO.
