At last, the Corvette joins the 200+ club. Amazing.

It looks very stable as the driver made little to no steering corrections on the bank at those high speeds. Amazing car!

I gotta be honest, I've been pulling all along for this Vette to outperform the Nissan but until it get's a better time at the 'Ring, this is going to be an hollow victory.
C'mon Chevy!

My driver question is answered here:

Also, who else thinks that it probably would've been better if he remained focused on the road the entire time instead of looking at the readout and road back and forth? After all, the engineer with the laptop was looking at the readout at the same time. Then again, if I were the driver, I'd probably want to know how fast I was going. I suppose it's only natural -- just like when Steve Bartman reached for the foul ball in Game 6 of the 2003 National League Championship Series when my college friend Mark Prior was pitching for the Cubbies.

Am I imagining things or did they pass a motorhome driving on the track near the end?

All this talk about "the Ring"..just gets old. If it was a closed course with an actual timed lap I could give credit where its due but its not closed as there are many other motorists on the track at the same time. How can the driver and the car really show what they are both capable of?
ZR1 seems perfectly capable but Id take the "slower" harder core ZO6 anyday.

I misspelled John Heinricy's name earlier. My apologies to the GM Racing god. :o)
