Citroen's iconic 2CV to return

Hey, VW did it with their New Beetle; same with the Mini. ...And Fiat is showing a neo-500. So why not Citroen too?

What we see here is really cool. If the actual car looks anything like this, it will sell like flowers on Mother's Day. Now if only the Chinese automaker Nanjing Automobile, who owns MG, would come up with a latter-day TC...

I'd have to use a Thesaurus to come up with enough words that mean "ugly" to describe that. Yikes.

Of course I never liked the dorky original model. Even the boxer engine left much to be desired.

Ewwwwww

Loved the original, this one is hideous IMO, the beauty of the original is that is was so basic and utilitarian. My mom had an '82 in the UK and I learned to drive in it was a great fun car. This one is just way to sleek and sophisticated and to me that was the wrong way to go, should of maintained the original design philosaphy of basic transportation , Jeez this monstrosity even has metallic paint !!!

As long as it has a cloth sunroof and gear shift on the dash, I'm in!

The original was atrocious and this one just seems worse, somehow. It's pretty cool how they kept to the original design though.

United States of America, loud'n'proud!
Somehow a an ugly retro version of a car that was ugly 'back when' doesn't seem like a way to make money. But I guess you never know.

Back in the day the ad campaigns for the 2CV were pretty funny. One was "Faster than a Ferrari! (a 2CV travelling at 60mph will pass a Ferrari travelling at 55mph).
