Just dialed up the GT-R's ridiculously detailed on-board computer.

Here are the current stats:

Coolant temp: 174 degrees
Engine oil temp: 179 degrees
Engine oil pressure: 450 kPa
Torque split: 100% rear
Transmission oil temp: 190 degrees
Accelerator pedal: 25%
Turbo boost: -50 kPa
Speed (briefly): 107mph

Only 107 mph ? I might have, possibly, got one going quicker on the street somewhere. Maybe. If that were possible. Perhaps. In a hypothetical world.

One of my favorite features of the GT-R are the detailed graphics and features of the onboard display. Simply awesome.

Definitely a very cool feature. I'm surprised at the relatively low "redline" for the oil temp though - only 260?? I'm sure this car requires synthetic oil, which should be able to handle much higher than 260. I see 300F in my '02 Z06 on the track in hot weather after 30 minutes of lapping sometimes, and its OK. I think NASCAR uses about 315F as a redline for their oil temps on full synthetic. And that's more to protect the engine seals and bearings at that temp - the oil is still good for even hotter.
