Given the intense globalization and the gold rush-like markets like China, yes, I can. Whether 200K vehicles was an overly ambitious goal or not, only attaining half that speaks volumes.

I have mixed feelings.
 
Sure, they failed to come even close to their growth targets, but we have to look at why.
 
GM controls them too much. They're stuck re-selling old Daewoos (Forenza, Reno, and Verona), basically, because GM has to dump those somewhere.
 
The XL7 is based on the Vue/Equinox platform, and even the V6 engine is based on a GM design.
 
Most importantly, the type of guy that would step down and take responsibility is exactly the type of person that should be leading the company. Do they really want someone who will not take responsibility, point fingers at others?
 
Nice gesture, but they should try to convince him to stay.

ateixeira: Suzuki does not have market/ make money in USA. More in Asia. Primarily India. It is mainly a small car manufacturer.

Not all Japanese are this way, but you can see it in many of them. Its really fascinating to see someone so dedicated to their work. I had worked for a Japanese company where the President of the company would sweep the parking lot for trash each morning and help his employee's without being asked.

I have had issues with my Suzuki Forenza 2005 since the beginning. I will never by another Suzuki. It is hard to get parts. It took over a week to get an alternator. I could go on but why.
