We've added a Pontiac G8 to our long-term fleet.

A full-size, rear-wheel-drive, V8-powered American sedan is always welcome in our garage.

We opted for the G8 GT which packs a 6.0-liter engine capable of 361 horsepower.

As a big fan of the G8, I am super happy to see this added to the fleet. I would have liked to have seen an orange G8, but this color here is pretty good too. I'll really be looking forward to hearing about it.

And who knows? Maybe after 12 months and 20K miles, KB might just admit that the G8 is a "Helluva Bang for the Sedan Buck".....

so let me know when you get ready to sell this in a year... :D If all goes well in the test, I just might be willing to pop for one. A good well used edition that has been put through the paces and that holds up well ought to be a good car right?

It's a great car, but I wonder if the timing is bad, with oil at $112/barrel.

Perhaps the V8 will mostly serve as a halo car and most people will just buy the V6 model anyway.
