Straightline - Rolls-Royce or Maybach?

Rolls-Royce or Maybach?

Rolls-Royce or Maybach? Which would you choose (assuming, of course that you could afford one)? Here's the first comparo of these two that I've seen.

Now if it were me, I'd opt for the Rolls, as it is the most imposing and in-your-face luxury liner in the world. Not only that, but only in the Phantom do you get "waftability," and that's priceless...

Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear magazine actually compared the two a while back. Here's a link to the article:

Being more of a driving nut, I would go for the Maybach. When I am in a car, I like to know that I am in car. "Waftability" was always a reason that I never liked the Lexus brand. They have always, like Rolls, built cars for people who hate to travel.

I'd take the Rolls Royce Phantom anyday over the Maybach 62. Rolls really has some distinctive styling, and when you spend that kind of money you want to be noticed. The Maybach looks too similar to the S Class. Also I feel the Rolls Royce has a more opulent interior.

The Rolls looks like it has eye brows over those headlights that are the eye balls. The rest of the car looks fine, though.

I'm not sure which one I'd pick. In fact, I'd get myself something sportier and smaller and let my wife choose which one her chauffer would drive her around in. :o)

i would pick the Maybach anyday maybe thats just because i'm a huge Mercedes-Benz fan but i happend to find the Maybach more luxurious as i have been in both. And i'm not a huge fan of the RR's styling.

I Like both rolls royce & maybach, mainly because they are both cool and dream cars.
