April Car Stock Exchange Vehicle Sales - Amazing Journey!


There are 25 Car Stock Exchange vehicles now on sale at dealerships and the CSX Sales Shocker of the Month is: Dodge Journey , with its ad blitz and $1,000 rebate, had April sales of 6,667 for total sales of 10,049 so far. If the April pace continues, Journey will sell 40,000 in 6 months, blowing past the Edmunds.com forecast of 15,750 and making the current CSX Journey stock price more reasonable.
April sales from totally all-new vehicles :
- Audi A5 had April sales of 394.
- BMW 1-Series had April sales of 1,125 for a year-to-date total of 2,621 from its March start date...


- BMW X6 kicked off with sales of 655 in April.
- MINI Clubman April sales were 979 for a year-to-date total of 2,747 from its mid-February launch.
- Infiniti EX35, which went on sale in December, sold 949 in April for a year-to-date total of 4,010.
- Jaguar XF April sales were 1,126, for a 2008 total of 2,287.
- Lexus sold 799 LX 570 SUVs in April for a total of 2,720 this year.
- Lexus sold 292 IS F high performance sports cars in April.
- Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution had sales of 364 in April.
- Pontiac G8 had April sales of 2,126 for a total of 2,903.
- Saturn Astra sold 909, for a year-to-date total of 2,386
- Smartfortwo delivered 2,683 vehicles in April for a total of 6,159 sold this year.
April sales figures that combine previous year or other models that need further breakdown:
- Chevy HHR, including HHR SS, were 6,168.
- Hyundai Sonata, with a significantly face-lifted model that went on sale last month, sold 11,001, a 5.4% rise from April 2007.   7,310  were  the new 2009 model.
- Nissan Murano had April sales of 5,737, a 16% drop from April 2007.
- Pontiac Vibe had April sales of 4,415 up nearly 48% from April 2007.
- Subaru Forester had sales of 5,339 up 49% from a April 2007.
- Toyota Sequoia 2,675 up 24% over April 2007.
- Toyota Corolla sales, including Matrix and previous models, were 32,435, down 7.3% from April 2007.

Our Edmunds.com team is still extracting sales figures for the Tahoe and Yukon Hybrids, BMW M3 and Subaru WRX STI and this blog will be updated as specific numbers come in so keep checking back.
CSX Game Note: The CSX calculation for 6 month sales totals start from March sales for vehicles that went on sale prior to March 1st, otherwise the calculation starts from the vehicle's first full month of sales after it's on-sale date. Fifteen CSX vehicles will count March sales through August retirement.
