Must-See Video: Stephen Colbert's Six-Minute Interview With GM's Bob Lutz
Right, Colbert upon receipt of Volt model from Lutz: "No wonder it gets such great mileage. Look how tiny this thing is!"
Comedian Stephen Colbert interviewed General Motors Vice Chairman Bob Lutz Wednesday regarding the Chevy Volt plug-in hybrid sedan.
If you haven't seen the amusing six-minute videotaped segment, you should stop whatever you're doing and watch it.
Typical of the line of questioning is this brief exchange, with Colbert dialed into his usual dead-pan, serious-reporter style:
Colbert: "Is it sexy? Will it get me laid?"
Lutz: "I think so. You might have a, um, a bunch of --"
Colbert: "It might change the type of woman I'm attracted to?"
Lutz: "You're going to get a lot of very nice, no makeup, environmental --."
Colbert: "A little crouchier? Maybe a little hair on the legs?"
Lutz: "I think so."
Colbert: "Could I actually charge this thing by plugging it into the cigarette adaptor in my Hummer?"
