BMW insider told me to watch for the next Z4. According to him "the car is beautiful, with Z8-like proportions." Sweet!

IMO, I think that the current z4 is beautiful! Even the pre-facelift models! All the z4 needed is a PRHT option like the Miata/SLK, better cupholders, and a more frugal engine option. BMW should bring over their 2.5SI engines to accompany the 3.0SI they currently use.

I liked the looks of the Z3 but could never get used to the Z4.

I thought the Z8 was smoking hot the one (and only one) time I ever saw one.

Looking forward to see a picture of what they have in mind.

Almost bought a Z4 M Roadster, but the interior left me cold. If they would have put the Z3 M interior into the Z4 it would have been perfect IMHO. Love those round center console dials. Classic.
