As someone who has gone through boot camp, I can tell you the sleep deprivation is about on par as well.
Oh! And you get to eat/drink more in boot camp.
And it'll only get worse, with air travel expanding faster than airports are. I can't wait for high-speed rail, it won't even have to be that good to beat flying.
