That's the ugliest car ever, worse than an Aztek.
The Aztek was actually functional and not too bad looking.

I really hate to get in arguments about something as subjective as looks, but comparing any car out today to the Aztec is like when right-wing or left-wing nuts try to compare one of our last two presidents to Hitler.
Plenty of cars today have grills of excessive size (a lot of Fords, Cadillac). A lot of other cars have implemented the "fastback" or sloped back end, including some hybrids, and even a lot of wagons and SUVs to a lesser degree. Other than those two things there's nothing that stands out about this vehicle. What is so incredibly ugly about this car? It's maybe a little pointless (I MUCH prefer a real wagon) and the shape isn't that great, much like the Dodge Magnum, but it's too bland to be that ugly!
I think people are letting their predisposed auto-pinions warp their judgment on this. The Ridgeline or older Element might have big problems style wise, but while this car is not something I'd buy it's hardly the worst looking car out there.
The Aztec was a complete abortion appearance wise. How many GM apologists do I have to hear say "at least it serves a purpose" when comparing it to cars today. Stop it people. The Aztec was hardly a quality enough vehicle to justify buying it over something of higher quality and acceptable looks. It is the ugliest car of the decade.

NoSpinZone,
you manage to look at the front, and then the rear.
Little do you consider the front and rear together, that the front and rear shouldn't even belong on the same car. It's a frankencar, the front and rear designs don't match!
That's what hideous about it. How can you put a squarish front on a soft rounding back? Since on the three quarter views you can see the front and back at the same time, it's hideous!

...and then Honda took the Crosstour's mug shot, and drew V for Vendetta whiskers on it.
The cool movie style frenchie mustache would look great on a car with a sharp face as seen on V, but this round bulging face demands a more substantial mustache that works with the bulging face.
It's like a fat girl with a skinny girl's hair cut. No.

Seeing the Accord crosstour in person, it looks MUCH better. Better thant he Venza
I wouldn't call it good looking per se but it definitely isn't bad and NOWHERE near Aztek levels
I go to UC Irvine and like last week there were a couple cross tours and a venza or two driving undisguised for no apparent reason, maybe testing?
anyways point is, much better in person. kinda like the Acura fastback SUV
the BMWs I still think look ugly

Billt9,
I have seen plenty of photos from lots of angles, and much like the Dodge Magnum, it does have an odd shape to it. But it's hardly assaulting to the eye. The BMW X6, and that Infinity SUV (forget the name) have similar shapes... while I'll admit they're also both very round in the front as well.
Your analysis, while, like mine, is purely subjective, I believe is filled with predisposition. It simply is not all that bad. Honestly, how is it any uglier than the Magnum?

Though not a fan of the Crosstour, to compare it to the Aztek is ludicrous. At least the Crosstour has wheels and tires that fit the fender openings. The Aztek had those little baby wheels that made it look like a toy. And a real ugly toy at that.

I wonder if lowering its suspension a would help? I think my dog would like a wagon better than a hatch.
