You've probably seen or heard about the speaker lights in the Kia Soul. When I ventured to Korea to drive the Soul, I was told that these weren't cleared for the United States because they'd cause people to crash or something. Apparently that's no longer an issue with Kia or the government. It didn't prove an issue for me as I didn't seem to crash at any time.
But how do these speaker lights work? Well, why write it when I've got a perfectly good YouTube?

P.S. I just had to let the song play itself out. I wouldn't want to leave people hanging.

Even if those lights worked properly, they'd be annoying. Combine that with them not working very well with the music and I don't think I could stand it.
I've always like that song. Reminds me of Bowie.

that's a pretty cool toy to play with.
but a steady glow is probably less annoying than it flashing to the song.

I think the Soul interior looks better as all black - hard plastics never look good in tan.

lol interesting
probably works better with dance or hip hop music, or songs with a very strong bass beat because that's probably what triggers the lights
