We have a winner ladies and gentlemen. According to our beloved readers, the Travolta-Cage Cup and the title Best American Car goes to the Chevy Corvette. Is anyone really surprised? To celebrate, fellow winner Brent Romans is out in his own Vette terrorizing the good citizens of California with terrifying, smoke-billowing doughnuts.
Your regularly scheduled Face-Offs shall resume next Monday. Let us know if you'd like to see any in particular.

How about a sport sedan face-off tournament with mixed sizes (small to large)? Possible contenders: C63, IS-F, M3, CTS-V, S4/RS4, Evo X, G37, XF-R, M5, Panamera, Quattroporte, E63, etc...

Not my choice, but it's a very impressive car. I can accept it as a winner.

How about something that my significant other and I have been dealing with here at home recently? Which is the best four-seater, moderately priced hardtop convertible out there? I know which one we're leaning towards, but we have some unique requirements (involving rear seats and non-humans). It would be nice to hear some other opinions:
Infiniti G37 Convertible vs. Lexus IS 250C/350C vs. VW EOS vs. Volvo C70

All I have to say is to each his own.
On a more serious note what is up with the whole "Face-Off Ayatollah" thing in of all things a All American car face off?

@subytrojan,
I like that idea. I'd like to see Smokey and the Bandit's '77 Trans Am SE vs Gone in 60 Seconds' (the original) '73 Mustang Mach 1...
