Okay, the Dodge Tomahawk isn't really a car (though it does have four wheels), and for that matter, nor is it officially a motorcycle (they can only have a maximum of three wheels) but does a concept vehicle get anymore outlandish?

Seen at the 2003 Auto Show, this 1,500-pound motorcycle (yes, I'm going to call it that) packs a Dodge Viper's V10 engine. So we're talking about straddling a 500 horsepower land missile. Other than perhaps Jay Leno's jet bike, this thing takes the term "crotch rocket" to a whole new level. The Tomahawk could hit 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and the top speed was estimated to be over 300 mph. The four disc brakes were understandably massive -- 20 inches in diameter and grabbed by a total of no less than 24 pistons (16 in front, 8 in back).
Though it was obviously not street legal, Dodge produced nine copies for Neiman-Marcus to sell (at $550,000 each) for either private road use or to be displayed as vehicular sculpture.

I remember the craze this thing started. Everyone wanted one but nobody knew why.
If I remember right, the turning radius on this thing was about the size of the Arctic Circle.

estreka,
Well, if that was the case on the turning radius, at least this Dodge product has something in common with my SRT-4 other than the badge.
