Travis Pastrana: motocross and rally racer

I've sort of been following
Travis Pastrana's racing career for some time, for a couple of reasons: First, he's a local boy (for me) who's made good in motocross racing circles. Second, he also races a Subaru STI in car rallys. Put those two items together, and you can bet I will take notice.
Pastrana first started making local news a few years ago because neighbors were complaining of his motorcycle antics on some nearby vacant lots...
It might have been on his folk's property, as I don't recall the specifics, other than the neighbors were none too happy. In any event, Pastrana became a local hot shoe, and was soon picked up as a factory rider for Suzuki, and in short time became one of the nation's leading motocross stars.
Pastrana has had career plans beyond motorcycles, and has hooked up with Subaru Rally Team USA. Currently he is one of the top race drivers on the rally circuit. Remember his name, as I expect him to make it really big in the not too distant future.
Snippet: "He wasn't afraid to walk right up to the limits of what the car could do," Edstrom said. "With a lot of other drivers, it takes them an event or two or three to get up to the limits of the car, and I think with Travis that took four or five corners."
