Mercedes-Benz S600 4-door convertible Ocean Drive concept

Now this is interesting. For three reasons: First, it's a 4-door convertible—a body style that is
always interesting in my book. Second, because it's a Benz, and not a Maybach. I would think a vehicle like this would most likely be wearing the "most-premium" badge in the DC corporate portfolio, which is Maybach, not Mercedes-Benz...
...And finally, third, it has a "old-fashioned" folding soft top, and not a "state-of-the-art" folding hardtop, something you would expect in this ubër-premium type of vehicle.
In any event, it's an impressive looking concept from Mercedes, and will be displayed at the NAIAS next month.

After reading about this car I truly hope that it hit the production line. It's a beautiful big-body convertible with lots of style and power to match. suicide rear doors and you will have a 10. So, if you are listening at Mercedes MAKE IT HAPPEN!
This reminds me heavily of one of my favorite classics, the 60's Lincoln Continental witht he suicide doors. Big body, 4 doors, full luxury, exclusiveness, rag top, its a niche car but I bet it would get a lot of attention for Mercedes.
Well, as neat as this is, I would have rather have seen a Dual-Cowl Phaeton, like this '41 Chrysler Newport show car; and built on the Maybach 62 chassis, not the S600 chassis. http://www.autogallery.org.ru/k/c/41chrNewportDualCowlPhaetonShowCar.jpg
Wow this really is a beautiful ride. It's long and flowing and should have plenty of power. I'd take this over a Continental GTC given the choice.
