2007 New York Auto Show: Nissan to Introduce 2008 NISMO 350Z

Nissan just released info on its refreshed
Titan,
Pathfinder and
Armada trucks for the 2007 Chicago auto show, but more interesting news is headed our way at the 2007 New York Auto Show in April. There, Nissan will unveil a Nismo-tuned 350Z with significant body and chassis upgrades. It's already on sale in Japan, but specs on the U.S. version of the Nismo 350Z are still under wraps...
Expect a sizable list of upgrades that includes Nismo-spec tires and wheels.

Wow, Ed! I would hate to think what repair costs would be of the rear diffuser/bumper and mufflers!
Sometimes I think Nissan views the Fairlady as more of a collector's item than a car.
That front air dam looks considerably less aggressive than stock. Also, that rear diffuser, while functional, looks tacky. It interrupts the natural flowing lines of the car. It's a shame too. I love diffusers.
while i grew up in the "tuner industry", i never really got into veilside and the more extreme kits. this is more along the lines of their JDM skyline nismo "Z Tune" line. i'm sure the wheels are probably manufactured by Ray's. front end is subtle, rear is pretty wild. personally, i like the front end with the (seemingly) carbon fiber front lip and the rear wing. i'm not too fond of that rear bumper. i wonder if they're going with the titanium exhausts..... hmmm..
thankfully, they didn't include the front canards. hahaha!
The rear diffuser and wing are a bit over the top for my tastes. I prefer to keep it a bit more simple.
I agree with hondacura4, the more simple, the more sweet. The 350Z would be really sweet if it had four seats especially for its size. I mean if they can get 4 seats in a MINI cooper than i think they can squeeze one more set in the Z. But thats just my opinion.
Well more seats is more weight, and it puts the nissan into a different, less sports-car oriented class altogether.
A Z with 4 seats? There already is one. It's called a G35 Coupe. And yes...it is less sport oriented.
The Z isn't for everyone. I dunno though. The 300ZX had a 2+2 during its lifetime. Also, supposedly the S2000 is gonna get a 2+2 sibling.
zephyr_7 - Basically, like ceedubb said, the G35 is the Z350 2+2. If you do a comparison between them, there's not a huge difference and if you really want four seats and Z style and power, the G35 is your best bet. You might even be able to order some Japanese market grille/emblems/badges from the Skyline to make your G35 more Nissan-like.
