Toyota's Endo is thinking SMART

According to
Automotive News (via
Autoblog) Toyota will debut a SMART-like car at the Frankfurt auto show this fall. Called the Endo (not a great name if you're a biker), this will be Toyota's first effort in this class size for the European market. The car has an unusual 3+1 seating set up.
Will we see it here?..
Not unless the SMART is a big hit with Americans.

Sounds like a warning shot from Toyota. And I bed Daimler-Chrysler knows it.
Why bother with 3+1? Just give it 2 real seats. Most commuters only need one!
Far more attractive than SMART.
Endo? I bet it will do an endo if you hit the brakes hard enough, going fast enough!
rollin down the street
smokin endo
sippin on gin and juice
laid back
with my mind on my money
and my money on my mind
That's the first thing that came to mind for me, anyone else?
Im sure its as exciting to drive as my toaster.
