Although this Frankfurt auto show marks the world premiere of the 457-hp 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG, the highly anticipated sedan was not part of the 14-hour-long Mercedes press conference. The C63 packs a 6.2-liter V8, a seven-speed automatic transmission, 19-inch wheels and 14.2-inch front brake rotors. Benz says it sprints from zero to 62 mph in just 4.5 seconds. A car with such stats deserves to be part of the show, don't you think?--Scott Oldham, Inside Line Editor in Chief

Is it just me or has AMG become so saturated in Mercedes' line-up that a new, predictable model doesnt excite?
Very true bmwrulz as I believe just about every Mercedes model is offered in AMG trim. Certainly not as exclusive as AMGs in the past.
Interesting point, I wonder how exclusive they are any more.
I guess they have Maybach if you want that.
I like the new C, but any more than a C350 seems like overkill to me, at least in the non-autobahn world I live in.
