I found this odd concept in some side stage among the aftermarket exhibitors. It's a four-seater -- two in front and two kids facing rearward. (A company spokesperson specifically said they were child seats.) They get in by opening the large rear hatch. Its midengine layout uses a small diesel engine... The whole thing weighs about 450 kg and top speed is 220 km per hour.
By the way, the name actually means something -- low resistance mobility. The car could be on sale by 2009 but at 15,000 it wouldn't make sense for U.S. customers. -- Brian Moody, Road Test Editor
