2007 Tokyo Auto Show: The meanest looking minivan you've ever seen
You can't really make a minivan cool-looking, but at least Toyota gives it a shot with its domestic market models. Think this would sell in the U.S.? Yeah, probably not. -- Ed Hellwig, Senior Editor Inside Line
Many people need practicality, but why does that mean it has to be boring?
I'm stuck with a minivan and foresee one for a long time.
I just wish for once they were made for people who CAN drive and want a little style. My current minivan, I feel like there's no reason to clean it ... and that's sad.
it is not a concept, actually, this car is known as the Toyota Alphard in many parts of Asia. It is not only sold in JDM. A very upscale minivan I must say, I've been in one..
Probably yes! Minivan are cool. Only those simple or practical people who can appreciate that kind of a car. According to Gianlucafavaloro's insights, every car enthusiast want to own a sports wagon or a hybrid car or even a minivan.
If you want to pay 35,000 USD to 45,000 USD for it, it may happens. This is Japanese version of "Escalade" (celebrity and business cruisers)
it might sell in the US. and pick up where the Chevy Astro left off. If Toyota does bring it here, Nissan won't be far behind with the Elgrand.
Uh.... people don't drive minivans for the looks, they drive them for the practicality.

sorry, but I don't own a minivan and would not have wanted one......
until I saw this fricken cool van. make it toyo
Of course Toyota wont make it. It's got excellent visibility.
Guys, this is a concept, it's going to inspire the next Sienna, I bet.
I hate the chrome grille and the profile looks too much like the old Ford Aerostar.
I do like the interior touches. Captain's chairs are popular now, this just goes the next step.
Tone it down a bit and this would make a good Lexus minivan, based on the next-gen Sienna.
