While I might feel safer in a Hummer around the edges of a storm like that, I'm pretty sure Mother Nature still would win in a "close combat" situation! :)
I think it's a poor choice of vehicles. It has a lot less space for gear than a Tahoe or Expedition would, IMO.
I love storms and mother nature in general but I think I would pick something much faster if I was going to be a storm chaser just in case. Probably an Escalade or Yukon Denali.
