OnStar analog systems to go bye-bye next week
Yeah, I know it's an old story, but probably worth a reminder anyway.
Anyone with the old analog OnStar units will be out of luck as of January 1, 2008. That's the cut-off date for usage of those old units. Some of these unit can be upgraded to the new digital OnStar system, but there are many units that can't be upgraded or replaced...
For those folks—tough luck...

I'm betting a bunch of GM owners aren't even aware of this yet. I'd hate to be a GM customer service operator next week!
