If the overwhelming reception to the Mitsubishi Raider is any indication, we expect big things from the Nissan Frontier-based Suzuki Equator, but not really. It goes on sale at the end of this year at which point you could buy one. Maybe you prefer the Suzuki's front grille to the Nissan's. We do. So they rebadged an aging pickup design? Whoopee.
I doubt many people think Suzuki when they hear "pickup." I'm surprised they didn't use a rebadged version of the Colorado/Canyon/i-series. Either way this vehicle is not needed. Suzuki would have been better off rebadging an Altima.
