MG 3SW crossover

It looks like Chinese-owned MG has been inspired by the Subaru Outback Sport (and Suzuki SX4 as well) with their new 3SW. The car comes with two engine choices: a 1.4-liter four and a 1.8-liter four. The 1.4-liter puts out 102 horsepower and 91 pound-feet of torque. The larger 1.8-liter engine offers 118 horsepower with torque coming in at 118 pound-feet...
The price will range from 80,000 – 120,000 RMB ($11,428 - 17,142 USD give or take). No word as to whether AWD will be offered.

And speaking of MG,

MG has come (or should I say gone) a long way since their Mazda rivalry days.
I don't like the black plastic cladding on it. What's the advantage of that stuff? Looks bad instantly, so you won't care when it gets scratched? Or, far cheaper than matching painted pieces?
I wish Subaru would copy MG and offer a sunroof on the Impreza.
Cladding like that doesn't dent as easily and there's no paint to scratch. It's actually very functional.
Looks like they "Outbacked" it.
actually the subaru copied that if anything, considering thats actually a Rover Streetwise (2003-2005) rebadged (notice on the bottom picture the clad above the license plate actually says Streetwise) as an MG 3SW and all engine options are from the Rover K-Series stable
