Subaru Exiga caught

A JDM Subaru Exiga with the optional aero kit was caught mostly unmasked. Note the huge glass roof. Link is
here.
UPDATE: Latest word that I've gotten is that the
Exiga is not slated to come Stateside, nor is it merely a slightly different version of the next Outback...
While the next Outback and Exiga may, to a degree resemble one another, they are each very much their own vehicles.
As to coming here? If it happens, it won't be for at least 2 or 3 years.

This could eventually replace my minivan. Looks good!
its like an x6 for probably 1/2 price. oh and twice as usefull.
Is this pronounced Ex-e-ga?
I was pronouncing it Ex-eye-ja. Could be wrong though.
Don't know what to think about the blue tinted headlights.
Looks like competition for the Mazda5. Wish it had sliding doors though.
Is it a glass roof or carbon fiber/figerglass?

Does anyone else think the rear license plate looks like a blurred California manufacturer plate?
SubyTrojan - I thought the same thing when I first saw that pic on nasioc.

Hmmm... I think I'll update the blog entry with this latest info...
Too rice for America.
So tuner Civic getup.
I hope that rumor is wrong, Bob.
The Mazda5 is successful, even without AWD, even without a 3nd row bench, even without stability control! And it's a bit too small.
This Exiga could address every one of those concerns.
Don't ignore us, Subaru!
I don't think so. I've got it from a very good source that there are no immediate plans to bring it over here.

The 5 has a 3rd row bench
