Mazda3 spy shots

Spy shots of a heavily masked next-gen Mazda3 have surfaced over on UK's AutoExpress. They've also included a rendering of what they think it might look like. If they're anywhere near being accurate, it looks to be an evolution of the current model in terms of styling direction. No doubt the the mechanicals will get a good going over, but no word on that yet... For Europe the car should should get a 2.0 and 2.5-litre engines and a six-speed tranny. In addition, the current 1.6 diesel will also be carried over to the new model, which is due on sale towards the end of 2009. No word yet on what drivetrain combos we might see on this side of the pond.
