Toyota to bring 5-door Yaris Stateside

Toyota_Yaris_Euro_main_555.jpg

As a fan of hatchbacks and 5-doors, news that the 5-door Toyota Yaris coming here is great. I think the 3-door Yaris is really neat. I never felt that way about the 4-door sedan version, as it's is typically Toyota boring; not so with this 5-door hatch.

Why is this?

?

Not sure I understand your question, but I'm assuming it's being sold here to better compete with the Honda Fit.

Well, "Registered User", I am asking why the entry does not list the user name of the person posting it, such as in the past when it would say for example "Bob".
Not the comments, the actual Straightline entry.

LOL! Well, there are obviously some glitches to be worked out here with this new blog format. I know Sylvia and her merry gang are working their hearts out trying to get this squared away as soon as possible. :)

So with that, I'm signing my name "Bob."

I like the way the hatchback Yaris look. But has Edmunds ever reviewed one?

That's really surprising you don't have it already. We've had the 5 door Yaris in Canada for a while. Not sure why we would get it and not the States.

Good idea, in fact it should have been made sooner.

The xA got bigger and has the 1.7l engine. Now that people want fuel misers, this gives them an even more efficient choice.
