"Find the gearshift by starlight," Nissan said as the 2009 Infiniti G37 Convertible's retractable hardtop opened to the L.A. Convention Center's, uh, starry, starry rafters.
The new G convertible gets 325 horsepower from its 3.7-liter V6, mated to a six-speed manual or seven-speed automatic transmission.
Full pricing has not yet been announced, but the limited-run G37 Convertible Premier Edition sold exclusively through Bloomingdale's annual holiday catalog is priced just under $60,000.

If they keep it under $40K, I think it'll be successful, as convertibles go, anyway.
Infiniti had a convertible before?? What model was that?
@mozzz77722
When Infiniti first started they had two models: The flagship Q45 and the M30 coupe/convertible. It was basically a rebadged Nissan Leopard I believe. It only sold for a few years and was discontinued.
Anyhow, the G37 Coupe looks 100 times better than the crappy IS Coupe...
Yeah, that's $20,000 to high.
Gorgeous, though. I hope the V6 doesn't sound like it's gargling, like some of Nissan's V6 models do.
Am I the only one who thinks this looks very similar to the Chrysler Sebring Convertible?
