Capitalizing and bolding all the D's because of the article title. How amazing.

I'm consistently impressed with the quality of the articles on Edmunds. No cheap gimmicks, just top-notch, classy journalism. Bravo.

Glad you approve. :)

I hope it is like D-Day for them.

And they're the Germans.

I hope he drives to DC. He should already have left by now.

Somebody call Guiness. I've never heard the word "psychology" used so many times in a single sentence. I could be wrong, but I think it was even a sentence fragment.

Quite honestly, nothing learned here (not against you Bob, against Wagoner). We know Detroit is in trouble and we know time is running out. We just don't know by how much. Apparently, neither does Wagoner.

Time for Detroit to make some hard decisions to save their collective a$#@&. GM needs to get rid of Pontiac, GMC, Hummer, Saab, and Saturn. Buick should be sold and manufactured only in China while using powertrains available worldwide. Chevrolet and Cadillac should be the only U.S. nameplates. This could surely be a success. Imagine being able to buy a Malibu that can be equipped from base model like an Accord to fully loaded; HID lighting, power everything, keyless start, 3.6 DI V6 etc. They would be able to do this without competing with other nameplates in the GM line up and at a lower costs than luxury nameplates. This would make room for Caddy to truly be a no holds barred luxury nameplate with some exclusive engines and platforms. Imagine a turbo 3.6 DI V6 in a CTS, STANDARD not optional. That would be a true competitor for BMW's 3 or Infiniti's G. They should also lose some of those engine choices. Make one V6 and use it across the board like Nissan has been doing for years. And why are they investing all this money to make a turbo 4 for the new Cruze. Don't they already sell turbo 4s in Saabs. Take that engine and make it more efficiet. That should cost far less than starting from scratch. Ford needs to do the same thing; losing Lincoln, Volvo and Mercury. Couldn't the new MKwhatever they call it be sold as a fully loaded Fusion. Chrysler should wrap it up and admit that the game is over.
