Mazda Releases Pricing for 2010 Mazda3
The company with the redundant model names provided these pricing details on its popular econo-sport sedan (and hatchback):
Mazda3 i SV 4-door base trim w/manual transmission: $15,045
Mazda3 i Sport 4-door w/manual transmission: $15,975
Mazda3 i Touring 4-door w/manual transmission: $17,500
Mazda3 s Sport 4-door w/manual transmission: $18,740
Mazda3 s Sport 5-door w/manual transmission: $19,230
Mazda3 s Grand Touring 4-door w/manual transmission: $21,500
Mazda3 s Grand Touring 5-door w/manual transmission: $21,500
* As before the "i" indicates the smaller (2.0-liter) engine, while the "s" denotes the larger (now 2.5-liter) engine.
* Prices do not include $670 Destination charge. Automatic transmission is $800 to $850 extra.

I'm just not feeling that smiley face! It's too ugly......the Lancer is looking more appealling!
Ooh, compact cars are expensive these days! But I reckon the i Touring is a great choice if one does not care for leather, premium stereo, navigation or more power.
I would love for Mazda to have the 5-door also available with the 2.0 engine.
Ditto on the 2.0 in a 5-door. I find it plenty powerful in my '08 3i Touring, and am getting 31.5 mpg lifetime avg after 20K miles. Sure would like the wagon body style, but I didn't want the added cost and lower mpg of the 3s engine.
(I was also told by the dealer that they had seen fewer maintenance problems on the 2.0. Maybe he was just trying to make the sale, but I found it interesting.)
that's quite a gummy smile... looks cartoonishly stupid. otherwise, it looks pretty darn good
