Really? Lavender-scented tires marketed to women? Was there a single woman on this product development team?
Kumho Tire USA says it has developed the world's first scented tire... targeted at female buyers who drive such vehicles as the Chrysler Sebring, Ford Taurus, Honda Accord, Subaru Outback and Toyota Camry, the company said.Would you buy scented tires at $119-$138 each?
The punsters at Kumho say the aromatic tire is the "fruition" of more than a year's worth of research and development to deliver "an alluring aroma tire that replaces the normal 'black rubber' smell with heat-resistant oils in the scent of lavender, and in later versions, neroli [orange] and jasmine."

This could be interesting to see (smell?) at a drifting competition.
My first thought was that this is so wrong. But then my next thought was hmmm... if they weren't any more expensive than regular tires I might just do it. I like nice smelling things.
What are they going to do next? Double -loaded burgers or pizza scented tires for men? How about buffalo wings? Insane.
